Biju Janata Dal (BJD) President and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today named candidates for 36 Assembly constituencies in the State. The regional party is in its 19th year of power in Odisha. In 2014, it had won 20 of 21 Lok Sabha seats.

These seats will go to polls in the third and fourth phases on April 23 and 29. Odisha has 21 Lok Sabha and 147 Assembly constituencies, which will face simultaneous polls in four phases from April 11.
