Buchepalli Subba Reddy, former MLA of Darsi Assembly constituency has passed away. Subba Reddy has been unwell for the past few days. He was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad. Subba Reddy died in hospital on Saturday.
Former MLA YS Subba Reddy and former minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy expressed deep condolences over the demise of former MLA. Other party Leaders have also expressed their condolences to Subba Reddy's family.
On the other hand, the families said that Subba Reddy's last rites will be held in his native village on Sunday. Significantly, the Congress party did not give him a ticket in the elections held in 2004. Because of this, he contested as an Independent candidate and won with huge votes. In the year 2009, his son Shiv Prasad Reddy contested from the Congress party and later joined YSRCP.
