Hyderabad: The State Election Commission came up with fresh order on postal ballot guidelines for GHMC Polls which will be held on Dec 1st.The modified order states that voter has to apply four days prior to the election date, which was seven days earlier. An order was issued by SEC Commissioner Parthasarathi which reads that voters with disabilities, people of age above 80 and Covid positive patients who are tested positive after Nov 1st can vote via postal ballots. Official order gives an option either to go for vote physically or via postal ballot, with ramps and wheelchairs provided at polling booths if t hey chose to vote in person.
AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi challenged the BJP to field Narendra Modi in the campaign for Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections. He said BJP leaders coming from Delhi and other places in the country would not make any difference. They are coming to Hyderabad to create communal trouble, he alleged.
Hyderabad: At a high level meeting with police officials on law and order situation, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) felt that there are chances of communal violence in Hyderabad and across state. He has directed police officials to deal strictly and firm action shall be taken on the anarchic forces who are trying to incite communal tensions and clashes in the city and other parts of State.

The war of words was between TRS and BJP all these days but now the turn of MIM has come to attack other parties, mainly on BJP and TRS. It is a tactical game by AIMIM, with elder brother criticising TRS and younger, aiming guns on BJP to show that AIMIM is maintaining equal distance from two parties.
Hyderabad: S. Jeevan Kumar, coordination committee member for TS and AP of Human Rights Forum has written a letter to Telangana State Chief Election Commissioner C. Parthasarathi complaining that the Covid regulations are being violated in the campaign in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections.
Amaravati: YCP announced Dr.Gurumurthy as its candidate for Tirupathi bypoll for Lok Sabha. The decision by party chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy surprised all as they were expecting one of Balli Durga Prasad’s family members to be picked up. Names of late MP’s son and wife were in the race till the end.
Chennai: Union Minister of Home and BJP’s senior leader Amit Shah was given a grand welcome here on Friday afternoon. He departed from the scheduled and walked on the bury road outside the airport and greeted the people. Earlier he landed here on a two day visit. The BJP-AIADMK relations have undergone a change. The allies are not very happy with each other.
Bihar: As per the trends going on right now, BJP looks to emerge as a single largest party with 79 seats in lead, followed by RJD 66 seats. Nitish Kumar’s JD(U) is in third position with 49 seats lead and congress is leading in 21 seats. The magic figure is 122 out of 243 member house and both the alliances had conducted a fiery campaign with PM Modi, Nitish calling their alliance as Double engine and opponents as Jungle Raj. The opposition had focused on unemployment and poor gaming of the Covid pandemic control measures.
Dubbaka: At last Dubbaka was won by the BJP in the By-election. It’s candidate Raghunandan Rao , who contested for third time consecutively, has upstaged the TRS from its traditional seat. The fight was neck to neck and the proceedings were nail-biting till the end with majority shifting to both parties in each round after the completion of 12 rounds. At the end of total 23 rounds and counting of postal ballot was completed, BJP candidate won a majority of 1118 votes and walked out of Indore College counting centre with a broad smile.
Dubbaka: Dubbaka results may spring a surprise for BJP party as per trends going on now favouring it. After the completion of 10 rounds, BJP is leading with 3734 votes over TRS. Still 14 rounds of counting have to be completed and TRS is hoping these rounds may give lead for them.
