Hyderabad: Much awaited GHMC poll voting started on Tuesday  morning at 7 am. The percentage of turnout in 2016 was around 45.27 which was higher than 2009’s  42%, first elections after GHMC was created after merger of surrounding villages and municipalities with the city. Total 9,101 polling stations are allotted for polling by the EC in which 99 polling stations are located in Kondapur which is the highest number and least in RC Puram which has only 33 polling stations.

Amaravati: Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan will tour flood affected areas in Rayalaseema on Dec 2nd as per sources. Recently cyclone Nivar showed its impact on farmers creating huge loss to them. The actor-turned-politician will visit Kadapa, Chittoor, Ananthapur and Nellore districts to review the loss of crops.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra  Modi will hold a virtual meeting with all party floor leaders on 4th, Friday ,as per Parliamentary sources. An invitation was sent to all parties including those  which are having less than 5 MP’s . It did  happen in earlier meeting held on April 20th.

Amaravati: Thirteen TDP members, including the leader of the Opposition Nara Chandrababu Naidu, were suspended from the Assembly for the day by Speaker Tammineni Sitaram on Monday. Soon after the winter session started the TDP members staged a walkout as a protest against passing Panchayat Raj Bill without any debate. Later, when Chandrababu Naidu wanted to speak on the plight of the farmers and the flood affected persons, he was not allowed by the Speaker since TDP member Rama Naidu was speaking at that time. A miffed Chandrababu Naidu sat on the floor along with his party members  for a  dharna before Speaker’s podium.

Chennai: Actor-turned-politician, Rajinikanth, kept his decision under suspense about political entry even after meeting  with party’s district secretaries in Chennai on Monday. Decision on political plunge will be taken and will be announced soon, Rajini said after the meet. You continue your efforts to strengthen party, RMM, until my decision is out, actor said in the meet.

Reasons are many like, war of words which hit rock bottom like ’surgical strike,’ terrorists, midterm elections by TBJP President Bandi Sanjay, galli leaders, calling PM as Tea seller  by Telangana CM and other TRS leaders, Demolish PV, NTR samdhi’s, challenging PM to campaign in old city by AIMIM leaders are a few that can  be quoted. Every political party has its own agenda when it  goes  into campaign keeping in view of its plans and strategies.
